Appointments

Many people like to see the same doctor for continuity and we aim to provide this service as we believe it provides the best care for our patients.

We will try the best we can to ensure that you see the doctor of choice, but as some doctors work part-time, please book ahead if possible. You can always see any doctor at the practice for urgent matters.

Appointments can be booked in person, over the telephone or online via the link above. For more information about registering for our online services please click here.

Urgent Problems

If you have a medical emergency, which cannot wait until the next routine appointment is available, we will offer you the opportunity to see a doctor at a certain time in the morning or afternoon.

Our reception staff will ask you for brief details of your medical problem. This is to enable our doctors to prioritise.

Please ring as early as possible in the morning if you feel that you have a very urgent medical problem that requires attention that day.

Telephone Consultations

In some circumstances you may feel it is appropriate or necessary to speak to the doctor for advice or review of your medical problem. Please ring the surgery and our reception staff will book a telephone consultation for you.

For general medical advice or concerns about a problem you can call NHS Direct.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many conditions.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
