Some developmental assessments are carried out by appointment within clinic time; others are carried out at home at times arranged between the health visitor and parents.
Immunisation clinics are held by appointment on Tuesday mornings with our practice nurse.
Minor Surgery
Surgical procedures not requiring hospital facilities (e.g. removal of moles and lumps) may be undertaken at the surgery.
Please discuss with your doctor.
Pregnancy Services
Your doctor of choice, along with our midwife, provide pre-conception, antenatal, and post-natal care. Our Midwives will initially see newly pregnant patients on Friday mornings at the Booking in Clinic. Our patients are usually referred to Hexham General Hospital for maternity care, but we can refer to other maternity units on request.

Appointments for contraceptive advice including the fitting of diaphragms and coils and reviews of the contraceptive pill are available. We offer a full range of Long Acting methods of contraception, including implants, injections and coils.
We also offer an accessible and confidential emergency contraception service. Please ring reception for an appointment.
