Mental Health Support
Recovery College Online
Another good free resource for building mental health resilience. Good for patients who are comfortable utilising online resources. You have to sign up but the courses are free. There's a good one incorporating positive psychology principles, and also a coping with COVID-19 course.
A locally funded counselling service which has a shorter waiting time than talking matters. They are also looking at providing some more services so worth keeping a look out on their website. They are linked to The Bridge Project but are also a stand alone service. Anyone can be referred in for counselling although it is not for acute mental health support.
Qwell - New Digital Mental Health Support for School Staff
A free locally commissioned service for Teachers and Teaching Assistants to help deal with heavy workloads, stress and sleep issues through to receiving formal therapeutic support for anxiety, depression and trauma.
